What went wrong with Ramesh Kumar, IAS
Raipur, August 23, 2010: What happened with Senior IAS P Ramesh Kumar, who is on deputation from West Bengal? Otherwise, he would not have been given a department like Village Industry (Gramodyog) after formulating a nice Industrial policy for the state.
The General Administration Department today through a notification took away the Commerce and Industry departments from P Ramesh Kumar and given that to Additional Chief Secretary Sarjius Minj as additional charges.
Ramesh Kumar has been given the departments of Gramodyog with additional charge of Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Handicraft Development Board and Village Industries.
Till date Village Industry was with another senior IAS Narayan Singh. However, he would continue with his Technical Education, Forest, Science and Technology Departments, the order said.
