Raipur, November 15, 2008: The first phase of poll for 39 constituencies of Chhattisgarh has registered 68 per cent votes compared to 71 per cent votes in 2003 Assembly election.
Information received from the ten districts, which went to poll yesterday and compiled by the Election Desk of the ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com revealed Sanjari Balod had registered the highest 81 per cent votes when Narayanpur has the lowest 36 per cent votes.
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh’s constituency Rajnandgaon registered 78 per cent votes when Leader of Opposition Mahendra Karma’s Dantewada had 45 per cent votes. Speaker Prem Prakash Pandey’s Bhilai Nagar has 65 per cent votes and Minister Ajay Chandrakar’s Kurud had 76 per cent votes.
