Raipur, April 25, 2010: Lot of awareness has been created about various government welfare schemes because of gram Suraj Abhiyamn, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said.
The awareness has increased about various programmes and that would help in increase the public participation in welfare schemes, the Chief Minister said here.
Expressing his gratefulness to the public for the success of the Gram Suraj Abhiyan-2010, Singh said success of any government scheme was depending upon the participation of the people in that programme.
The current Gram Suraj Abhiyan, which ended yesterday, would help in formulation of schemes for the next three years, he said.
He also praised the concept and said gram Suraj Abhiyan was a unique programme in the country, in which starting from the Chief Secretary to the Patwari all march to the villages, to demonstrate the dedication of the government and administration in welfare of the state.
