Publication of Voter list from October 1

     Kanker, September 29, 2011: Voter list would be published and displayed in all the polling booths from October 01 to November 01, officials said today.

     The As per the schedule of the Election Commission of India, the voter list would be on display for one month from October 01, officials said.

     Commission has also fixed January 01, 2012 as the eligibility date, which means, any one completing 18 years on that day can include his or her name in the voter list, they said.

     During that one month, names would be included, deleted or corrected at the polling booths after filing in prescribed application forms.
