Raipur, December 12, 2011: Chhattisgarh cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, today approved a proposal to appoint the widow of journalist Sushil Pathak as teacher at Bilaspur.
The cabinet today approved a proposal to appoint Sangeeta Pathak as an assistant teacher under the Bilaspur Municipal Corporation, official sources said.
It would be a special appointment, they added.
Pathak was shot dead by unidentified assailants when he was parking his vehicle near his house in Bilaspur after returning from duty from his Dainik Bhaskar press on late night of December 19, last year.
After State Police failed to identify the assailants, the State BJP government announced on February 24, last to hand over the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for further probe.
