Jagdalpur, February 13, 2014: Special Advisor to the Prime Minister TKA Nair today reviewed the developmental works of the Bastar region.
Reviewing the Bastar plan and its pace of execution, the top advisor also stressed for special emphasis on education, health, drinking water, tele and road communication.
Infrastructure development of Bastar region has to be given top priority, he told officials.
After making a two days tour of Bastar region, Nair took the review meeting at Jagdalpur today.
After the meeting Nair visited the Narayanpur district to have first hand knowledge of the worst Maoist-hit district of the state.
Advisor to the Ministry of Union Home Affairs Vijay Kumar also accompanied the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister in his tour of Chhattisgarh.
