Raipur, February 05, 2016: Chhattisgarh cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today approved a new scheme to provide land at Naya Raipur at a concessional rate.
Land at concessional rate would be provided for Super speciality hospital, international school, environmental friendly industries, amusement park, golf course, ware house, and film city among others, a government release said.
To develop quality public utility and generate employment opportunity, the Housing and Environment Department had pushed this proposal.
The cabinet also approved a proposal to create a joint venture for expansion of rail network in the state.
It would be a joint venture between Chhattisgarh Government, Railway Ministry and the government of India. In the share holding the state would have 51 per cent where as Rail Ministry would be a junior partner with 49 per cent.
The cabinet also decided to distribute two months ration at a time to the ration card holders.
The cabinet also approved a new Excise policy for 2016-2017. The government release said in the new policy there was no proposal to increase the number of any new liquor shop.
With the new Excise police, the state government was estimating a revenue of Rs 3337.79 crore for the next fiscal.
