New Delhi, March 9, 2023: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia was today arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
The top AAP leader was arrested on money laundering charges in connection with alleged irregularities in the Delhi excise policy, official sources said.
He was arrested under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) following his second round of questioning at the Tihar jail, reports said.
ED has also alleged Sisodia was not cooperating in the probe.
The former Deputy Chief Minister is currently lodged in judicial custody after the CBI arrested him on February 26 in connection with the alleged corruption in formulation and implementation of the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy for 2021-22.
