Raipur, June 1, 2023: Preparation are in full swing for the election to 90 assembly constituencies of Chhattisgarh, officials said today.
Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale today took the meeting of the recognised political parties of the state and discussed about the preparedness for the year end assembly election in Chhattisgarh.
Revisions of electoral rolls have been started from May 25 with the door to door visit of the booth level officials and the primary roll will be published on August 2.
Second revisions for the electoral roll have also been scheduled for Chhattisgarh.
Fixing the cut-off date of October 1, 2023 of the voters, final publication of Electoral Rolls with photographs will be on October 4, 2023, they said.
To ensure 100 per cent registration of eligible voters special camps would be organised in polling booths throughout the state on August 12-13 and August 19-20, next.
Through the voter helpline and voter service portals people can fill their applications.
