Raipur, June 5, 2023: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today appealed to the farmers of the state to use organic manure and organic pesticides and insecticides in the coming Khariff season.
Urging the farmers to go organic, the Chief Minister said organic farming would increase the fertility of the farm lands and also that would reduce the input cost on agriculture.
The Chief Minister also transferred online Rs 21.31 crore under the Godhan Nyay Yojana to the beneficiaries.
So far the state Congress government has transferred Rs 538.89 crore to the beneficiaries under the Godhan Nyay Yojana.
Also the government transferred RS 1.13 crore as the first instalment of honorarium to the Gothan Presidents and Secretaries.
The Chief Minister also urged the people of the state to plant more trees to make the state green and healthy.
