New Delhi, December 30, 2023: Government of India has consolidated and published its Monthly Account up to November 2023.
Highlighting the details, Finance Ministry sources said, the Government of India has received ₹17,45,583 crore, which are 64.3 per cent of corresponding budget estimate (BE) 2023-24 of Total Receipts up to November 2023 comprising ₹14,35,755 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), ₹2,84,365 crore of Non-Tax Revenue and ₹25,463 crore of Non-Debt Capital Receipts.
Non-Debt Capital Receipts consists of Recovery of Loans ₹16,604 crore and Miscellaneous Capital Receipts of ₹8,859 crore.
₹6,01,366 crore has been transferred to State Governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes by Government of India up to this period which is ₹50,261 crore higher than the previous year.

The Total Expenditure incurred by Government of India is ₹26,52,167 crore (58.9 per cent of corresponding BE 2023-24), out of which ₹20,66,522 crore is on Revenue Account and ₹5,85,645 crore is on Capital Account. Out of the Total Revenue Expenditure, ₹6,07,963 crore is on account of Interest Payments and ₹2,42,756 crore is on account of Major Subsidies, the sources said.
