New Delhi, June 19, 2024: Amid criticism for improper conduct of NEET UG Examination 2024, the Government of India today said it has sought a detailed report from the Bihar Police about the examination in Patna Centre.
As regards certain irregularities alleged in the conduct of the examination in Patna, a detailed report has been sought from the Economic Offences Unit, Bihar Police, Union Education Ministry said today.
The Central Government will take further action, on receipt of this report, the Ministry said.
In the matter pertaining to the NEET (UG) Examination-2024, the issue related to grace marks has already been fully addressed, Union Education Ministry said.
The Ministry said the Central Government is committed to ensure the sanctity of examinations and protect the interest of students.
It is reiterated that any individual or organization found to be involved in this matter will face strictest action, Centre stated.
