Raipur, July 26, 2024: The brief Monsoon Session of Chhattisgarh Assembly was ended today.
After a 5-day session, Speaker Dr Raman Singh today late evening declared the house sine die.
The Monsoon session was started on July 22 and it had 5 sittings, during which one financial bill like the first Supplementary Budget, and two legislations were taken up for discussion and subsequently passed.
The House also congratulated Narendra Modi for becoming Prime Minister for the third term in the recently held elections.
As per the custom of Chhattisgarh Assembly, in the last day of the current session the Speaker announces the next date of the coming session.
In the second or third week of December the Winter session will be called for, Speaker Dr Raman Singh said adding in that matter he had a discussion with the Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai also.
