Raipur, December 04, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today reviewed the progress in operations against the Maoists in the state and urged the police officials to speed up the process to eliminate naxals from the state.
To completely eradicate Maoism from the state by March 2026 the forces should speed up the process so that Bastar could pace with development, Chief Minister told the review meeting at Police headquarters.

He also directed officials to complete construction of 15 thousand houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the surrendered and Maoists violence affected families.
In the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Principal Secretary to CM Rahul Bhagat, the Chief Minister reviewed the strategy and evaluate the works of the Police Headquarters.
The meeting also discusses setting up of new camps in the forwarding areas of Bastar and more penetration of security forces in the Maoists hotbed areas.
