Raipur, December 17, 2024: Chhattisgarh government has cancelled the process of reservation in three-tier panchayats of the state.
From today the process to reserve the seats in three-tier panchayats was to be started.
However, through the letter No 5735/1773/22-2/2024 dated 16-12-2024 the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department has cancelled the process of reservation in the Panchayats, official sources said.
“Hence the reservation process for reservation in the three-tier Panchayats stand cancelled till further order,” the order said.
Earlier on December 11 the government had declared the schedule for completing the reservation process in the panchayat raj institutions of the state.
