Raipur, March 27 , 2025: The Vishnu Dev Sai Government today transferred Rs 53 crore 43 lakh 74 thousand 915 through DBT to the bank accounts of one lakh 14 thousand 902 workers under the schemes run for the betterment of workers and their families.

Many schemes are being run by the state government for the betterment of workers and their families, as well as financial assistance are being given continuously. In this connection, Chhattisgarh Labour Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan today transferred Rs 53 crore 43 lakh 74 thousand 915 through DBT to the bank accounts of one lakh 14 thousand 902 workers at the Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Board office in Nava Raipur.
Minister Dewangan said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sai, the schemes are being successfully implemented through the three divisions of the Labor Department – Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Board, Organized Workers State Social Security Board and Labour Welfare Board. As a result of this, in the last one and a quarter years, about 500 crore rupees have been transferred to the workers through various schemes.

During the programme, Labour Minister Dewangan gave a check of one lakh rupees each to Manish Markam, resident of Kushalpur Raipur and Mangalin Sahu, resident of Khamtarai under the Chief Minister Construction Workers Death and Disabled Assistance Scheme, and a check of 20 thousand rupees each to Anita Nag, resident of Raipur and Sangeeta Dhimar, resident of Raipur under the Chief Minister Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme.
Under the Chief Minister’s Shramik Siyan Sahayata Yojana, Bihari Lal Dewangan, resident of Changora Bhatha and Rahi Sahu, resident of Bhawani Nagar Kota Raipur were given cheques of Rs 20,000 each. Under the Chief Minister’s Naunihal Scholarship Yojana, Lakshmi Sonkar, resident of Kushalpur was given a cheque of Rs 8,000 and under the Chief Minister’s Noni Babu Medhavi Education Assistance Scheme, a cheque of Rs 5,000 was given to Shail Sarve.
