Raipur, April 03, 2025: To strengthen health services in Chhattisgarh on instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai specialist doctors and medical officers have been appointed on contract basis under the National Health Mission.
State Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal today stated that 31 medical officers (contract) and 08 specialist doctors (contract) have been posted in various government health centers of the state.
This will strengthen the existing medical facilities, the Minister said.
These doctors have been posted in various rural and urban primary health centers, community health centers and district hospitals.

Orders for the posting of these new contract medical officers have been issued today by the National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh.
In the order issued for specialist doctors (contract), Dr. Ritu Baghmar has been posted at District Hospital Baloda Bazar, Dr. Gaurav Dani at District Hospital Bemetara, Dr. Ashfaq Hussain at District Hospital Dantewada, Dr. Santram Churendra and Dr. Richa Verma at District Hospital Durg, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh at District Hospital Janjgir Champa, Dr. Milind Manohar Devdhar at Urban Community Center Raipur and Dr. Shivam Jaiswal at District Hospital Surajpur.
