Raipur, December 30, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today directed the officials of the Education Department to ensure the distribution of quality free text books to all the students of the state within the time limit in the upcoming academic session.

Chief Minister Sai also directed that the distribution work of textbooks should be monitored through online tracking app so that the students can get the textbooks within the time limit.
Sai gave these instructions in the 89th Executive body meeting of the Chhattisgarh Textbook Corporation held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan today.
Similarly, he directed to purchase cover paper and inner paper and other tenders for printing free textbooks through GEM portal.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary of School Education Department Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Secretary to Chief Minister Mukesh Bansal and Basavaraju S, Managing Director of Textbook Corporation Sanjeev Kumar Jha were also present in the meeting.
