Raipur, November 28, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai honoured six litterateurs who enriched the Chhattisgarhi language by presenting shawl-shriphal and memento in a programme organised on the occasion of Chhattisgarhi Rajbhasha Diwas.
Sai also released 12 books written in Chhattisgarhi language and published by Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission.
Chief Minister Sai honored 6 senior litterateurs, who contributed to enrich the Chhattisgarhi language in the programme, namely Surjeet Navdeep of Dhamtari, Dr. Ramendranath Mishra of Raipur, Puneet Guruvansh of Dhamtari, Dr. Sukhdev Ram Sahu Saras of Raipur, Shivbrat Singh Pawale of Sarguja, Shakuntala Shende of Dantewada by presenting shawl-shriphal and memento.
In the programme, the Chief Minister released the book “Lorik Chanda” by Dr. P.C. Lal Yadav, “Konda-Bhaira Ke Goth” by Sushil Bhole, “Chahakat Chiraiya” by Anil Jangde, “Chhattisgarhi Mahila Kalamkaar Le Muhaanchahi” by Dr. Jai Bharti Chandrakar, “Dokari Dai Ke Kahini” by Sevak Ram Bandhe, “Girwar Goth Geet Ghazal” by Girwar Das Manikpuri, “Godavari” by Dr. Shailchandra, “Kathva” by Dr. Kishan Tandon, “Purkha Ke Surta” by Om Prakash Sahu, “Purkhauti” by Loknath Sahu Lalkar, “Riya Ke Chay” by Dhaneshwari Soni Gul, “Saunjia Ke Din Bahurenge” by Amoldas Tandon.
The programme was presided over by MP Brijmohan Agarwal. Surendra Dubey and Ramendranath Mishra were present in the programme as special guests.
