Raipur, July 14, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today planted a Gulmohar sapling in the new assembly premises located in Nava Raipur after performing pooja.
Chief Minister Sai planted the Gulmohar sapling, while participating in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’ tree plantation programme.

On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, other members of the Council of Ministers and all the members of the Legislative Assembly had also planted Gulmohar saplings.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary (Forest) Richa Sharma, Chhattisgarh Forest Force Chief V. Srinivas Rao, Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Federation Anil Sahu, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Arun Kumar Pandey, Chief Conservator of Forests Raju Agasmani were also present in the programme.
