Raipur, November 24, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will now visit various areas of the state by train as well saying he had enjoyed travelling in train as the journey gives you opportunities to meet new people.

Sai took this decision to tour by train when a discussion was going on for going to Bilaspur to attend a Kavi sammelan there.
The Chief Minister said that train travel is not new to me. He had traveled by train many times while being an MLA and MP.
Sai said that the joy of traveling by train is that you get to know many new people, have a cordial meeting with them and it feels like going on a journey with a very big family.
He left for Bilaspur from Raipur by Amarkantak Express this evening. He reached the platform without any special pomp and show. People were overjoyed to see the Chief Minister suddenly on the platform. They greeted him with enthusiasm, Sai also met them warmly and talked to him.
The Chief Minister said that train journeys are always special. Rail journeys have a special place in the life of a common man.
Sai was very excited about travelling from Raipur to Bilaspur by Amarkantak Express, official sources said.

He left the battery operated car on the platform and walked on the platform like ordinary passengers and left for his destination by train.
Eating peanuts like an ordinary passenger, he said in a desi style that the train journey of Indians cannot be complete without it.
Sai said that train is a public property and the cleanliness of the train should be taken care of. Also, showing awareness to the passengers, they should not throw peanut shells here and there after eating in the train so that other passengers do not face any problem.
Railway officials were also present during this journey with the Chief Minister. He took information about the passenger facilities in the railways.
