Ambikapur, January 15, 2023: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the first ever Shaheed Park in Balrampur district dedicated to the Martyr jawans of the district.
The Shaheed Park has the statue of the jawans from the Balrampur district, who had laid down their life.
Chief Minister Baghel was of the opinion that the people should not look for a particular day to remember the supreme sacrifice of the jawans.
Rather through this Shaheed Park the people will always remember the brave jawans, he added.
About Rs 40 lakh had been spent to construct the Shaheed Park and the local municipality was made the nodal agency to construct that.
Statues of Sub Inspectors Navor Kujur and Masihi Bhushan Lakda, Head Constables Lajrus Minj, Manajrul Haq and Ramsai Ram and Constables Mahesh Ram Paikra and Anil Khalko have been installed along with their details are described, so that the people will got to know about their supreme sacrifices and take inspiration from them.
