Raipur, April 25, 2023: Chhattisgarh Government today changed the name of Kamal Vihar, the ambitious housing project started by the previous BJP government, led by Dr Raman Singh.
“Kamal Vihar hence forth be called as Kaushalya Vihar,” Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced here today.
During his “Bhent Mulaqat” programme ahead of the year end assembly election, Baghel said Amlidih College would also be named after Mata Kaushalya.
The Chief Minister also announced various welfare schemes worth Rs 167 crore for the Raipur Rural Assembly constituency.
Baghel also announced half a crore rupees for the sewerage treatment of Kabir Nagar and the Housing Board colonies of Saddu area.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the welfare schemes of his government and interacted with the people.
