Raipur, August 23, 2024: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah arrived here today late evening in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur on a three-day tour.

Shah has many an important task in hand, including a review meeting on the inter-state operations against Maoists, progress in cooperative movement, pace of development in the state and some organizational issues.
The Union Home Minister was received at the Air Port by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai.

The Home Minister will be in Chhattisgarh for three days and this is for the first time in the history of the state that any important dignitaries spent so many days in the state.
At the Air Port both the Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao, Finance Minister O P Choudhary, Cooperative Minister Kedar Kashyap and others were also present.
The Home Minister is scheduled to address a press conference tomorrow.
As per the schedule of the Home Minister, he will visit the Vallabhacharya Ashram tomorrow at 10.30 AM.
At 11.30 the Union Minister will preside over an inter-state coordination meeting of the Chief Secretaries and DGPs of Chhattisgarh and its neighbouring states. This meeting will takes place at Hotel Mayfare, Naya Raipur.
At 2.30 PM the Home Minister will also preside over a meeting on security and developments in left wing extremism affected areas.
The Union Home Minister will address at Press Conference at Hotel Mayfare at 5.30 PM.
