Raipur, January 21, 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Capital Raipur today to participate in the training programme of the MLAs of Chhattisgarh assembly.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai welcomed the Union Home Minister at the Raipur Airport.
Deputy Chief Minister-Home Vijay Sharma and Raipur BJP Lok Sabha MP Sunil Soni were also present in the Airport along with senior officials.
Home Minister Shah is scheduled to address the training programme of the MLAs at Assembly premises about the parliamentary proceedings.
Shah will also review the operations against the Maoists in the state with senior officials, sources said.
A two days training programme for the MLAs of Chhattisgarh assembly was inaugurated by the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla yesterday.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Uttar Pradesh Speaker Satish Mahana briefed the MLAs about the procedure of the house on the inaugural day along with other dignitaries.
