New Delhi, January 23, 2024: Government of India has invited over 1500 farmers throughout the country to participate in the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi.
Over 1500 farmers, who are beneficiaries of various central government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, have been invited by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare to watch the 75th Republic Day Parade here, Agriculture Ministry sources said.

In celebration of India’s 75th Republic Day, distinguished guests from different fields will gather at Kartavya Path to watch the Republic Day parade. The Centre plans to honour several beneficiaries of central government schemes by inviting them to witness the momentous parade.
As a part of this celebration, a comprehensive training session on key government initiatives like AIF, M&T, National Seeds Cooperation, and Per Drop More Crop, coupled with a field visit to PUSA Campus, is scheduled for the farmers on 25 January 2024, they said.
On January 26, the special invitees will witness the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path. Following the parade, the farmers will gather at Subramaniam Hall, PUSA, for a special programme in the presence of Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda.
This celebration is set to highlight Ministry’s dedication towards development, recognizing and appreciating the tireless efforts of the agricultural community.
