Raipur, March 17, 2025: To include eligible beneficiaries in the “Awas Plus” list, Chhattisgarh government is conducting survey in every gram panchayats of the state, which will continue till March 31, next.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), survey work is going on to provide housing to eligible families in the next five years (2024-25 to 2028-29). Under this process, eligible beneficiaries are being identified in each gram panchayat and included in the “Awas Plus” list, official sources said.
As per the instructions of the government, Gram Panchayat Secretary, Employment Assistant and Awas Mitra have been appointed as enumerators. They are conducting surveys through the “Awas Plus” app. If the name of any eligible family is left out from the list, then it can contact the concerned Gram Panchayat Secretary and get its survey done free of cost.
The Central Government has fixed March 31 as the last date. After this, survey of any family will not be possible and no claim-objection will be accepted, the sources said.
Eligible beneficiaries can also conduct their own survey. For this, download the “Aawas Plus” application from https://pmayg.nic.in/infoapp.html and fill in the required information.
The administration is working fast to provide benefits to eligible families under this scheme as soon as possible. All eligible beneficiaries should contact their Gram Panchayat Secretary, Employment Assistant or Aawas Mitra as soon as possible and get their name registered in the list and complete the application process.
The new scheme launched by the government will benefit only those families who will fulfill its eligibility conditions. Families falling in some special categories have been excluded from this scheme.
Such as families having motorized three/four-wheeler, families having mechanised agricultural equipment, Kisan Credit Card holders with loan limit of Rs 50,000 or more, families having a Government servant as a member, families having non-agricultural enterprise registered with the Government having monthly income of more than Rs 15,000, families paying income tax or profession tax, families having 2.5 acres or more of irrigated land and families having 5 acres or more of non-irrigated land.
