New Delhi, March 19, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a day-long visit to Chhattisgarh on March 30 and in this connection Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met the Prime Minister during his two-day stay in Delhi and also presented him the outline of the tour.

Chief Minister Sai met Prime Minister Modi in Delhi and presented the outline of his proposed Chhattisgarh visit on March 30. During this visit, various important development projects in the state will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister, official sources said today.
Sai had a cordial meeting with Prime Minister Modi at Parliament House yesterday during his two-day stay in New Delhi.
They discussed the industrial development of Chhattisgarh, the master plan for the development of Bastar and the expansion of infrastructure, industry and tourism centers in Naxal-affected areas.
Chhattisgarh government is committed to take the state to new heights of development with full commitment, said Sai.
The Prime Minister praised the Bastar Development Scheme and assured all possible cooperation to the state government.
Apart from Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Sai met various senior leaders including Union Energy, Housing and Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Communications and North-Eastern Region Development Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya and held detailed discussions on the development of Chhattisgarh, industrial policy, Naxal eradication and development of Bastar.

Chief Minister Sai met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah at his residence and discussed in detail about the complete elimination of Naxalism, overall development of Bastar and increasing economic activities in the state.
Sai apprised Shah that Naxalism in Chhattisgarh is in its last phase as the state government is taking decisive steps in that direction. Due to the joint efforts of the Central and State Government, the grip of Naxalite organizations has weakened and Chhattisgarh is now moving towards a new era.
The Union Home Minister appreciated the efforts of the state government and assured all possible cooperation, the sources said.
During his stay, Sai met Union Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and discussed issues related to expansion of energy sector and urban development in Chhattisgarh. Union Minister of State and Bilaspur MP Tokhan Sahu was also present in the meeting.

The Chief Minister met the MPs of Chhattisgarh at the Parliament House and also discussed the development plans of the state, Center-State coordination and progress of major projects.
BJP MP Tejasvi Surya made a courtesy call at Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi. On this occasion, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt best wishes to him on his entry into married life.
The Chief Minister presented the master plan for the overall development of Bastar region to the Centre, in which special emphasis was laid on new opportunities for roads, electricity, water, education, health, industry and tourism. The objective of this master plan is to bring Naxal-affected areas into the mainstream of development and provide new employment opportunities to the local youth.
The Central Government accepted this master plan positively and assured all possible assistance. Various issues were discussed with the Central Government for the development of Chhattisgarh.
Sources said the Chief Minister’s visit to Delhi was very successful for increasing coordination with the Central Government for the development of Chhattisgarh and taking decisions on important subjects.
Sai received strong cooperation and support from the Central Government for the development plans of the state. His important meetings with Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Shah, various Union Ministers and MPs are expected to give new momentum and direction to the development of Chhattisgarh.
