Raipur, April 29, 2009: A senior education official Shail Shandilya today allegedly committed suicide at her residence here in the capital city.
Shandilya was working as the District Education Officer and the Department officials said she was worried over some thing.
Police said they are looking into the matter.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and School Education Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal have conveyed their deepest condolences over the sudden demise of the state government official.
Shandilya committing suicide was an unfortunate incident, said the Chief Minister.
Agrawal said Shandilya was a disciplined and able administrator and was fully dedicated towards her works.
