Ranchi, December 05, 2024: Eleven ministers were today inducted into the cabinet of Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand.
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administered the oath to the ministers at Raj Bhavan here in the presence of dignitaries.
Among the ministers were six new faces and two women and Chief Minister Hemant Soren retained 5 from previous ministry.
Of the 11 Ministers, six belong to the JMM of Soren, four from Congress and one from RJD.
With today’s oath, the Chief Minister has filled all the post of ministers without leaving any vacancies.
In the new Assembly, the JMM has 34 MLAs, the Congress 16 and the RJD four.
The ministers who were sworn-in today include the JMM’s Deepak Birua (Chaibasa MLA), Chamra Linda (Bishunpur), Ramdas Soren (Ghatsila), Hafizul Hasan (Madhupur), Yogendra Prasad (Gomia) and Sudivya Kumar (Giridih); Congress’ Radha Krishna Kishore (Chhatarpur), Irfan Ansari (Jamtara), Deepika Pandey Singh (Mahagama) and Shilpi Neha Tirkey (Mandar), and the RJD’s Sanjay Prasad Yadav (Godda).
Five members Ramdas Soren, Dipak Birua, Hafizul Hasan, Dipika Pandey Singh and Irfan Ansari have been repeated from the previous government.
