Raipur, May 12, 2025: At least 13 people were killed and 14 seriously injured in a horrific collision between a mini truck and a trailer late last night in Kharora area of Raipur district in Chhattisgarh.
All these people in the mini truck were returning from Bana village of Kharora after the Chhathi programme. In Bangoli, it was hit by a trailer coming from Raipur.
The dead include 10 women and 3 children. These also include 3 women from the same family.
The trailer is from Jharkhand state.
According to reports, in order to avoid the toll gate, the driver of the trailer took another route and during this time the mini truck collided with iron (part of heavy machine) protruding about 3 feet from the side of the trailer.
After the accident, the mini truck went out of control and collided with another truck coming behind the trailer.
