Jagdalpur, September 27, 2009: Chhattisgarh Chief minister Dr Raman Singh, several of his cabinet colleague and Assembly Speaker today met Bastar MP Baliram Kashyap and their cabinet colleague Kedar Kashyap and convey their heartfelt condolences for the killing of Tansen Kashyap by Maoists yesterday near his village Bhanpuri.
On arrival from Raipur, the visitors went to the Maharani Hospital, where Baliram and one of his injured sons Dinesh were admitted, and also talk to them about their health condition.
Cycle-borne Maoists yesterday gun down BJP Bastar Block Chairman Tansen and injured Dinesh, both sons of Baliram, at Bedaguda village, when both the brothers were coming out after doing their family Astami puja.
The Chief Minister also visited Pharsaguda, village of Kedar, and spent hours with him to console him of the loss.
