Raipur, March 29, 2013: Chhattisgarh Government today announced new rates for treatment under the health insurance scheme, which would be applicable from April 1, next.
The state government has amended the rates for treatment under the National Health Insurance Scheme and the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme and now the package rates for both the schemes would be same for treatment, Health officials said here.
The new rates would be made effective from April 1, next, they said.
The agreement would be cancelled with all those hospitals, which would not be agreed to the new rates, the officials warned.
Similarly, the state Health Department would also recommend to the state government to strike off names from all other government schemes of those hospitals, which would not agree to the new rates, they added.
For quite some time, various hospitals had been demanding upward revision in the rates of treatment under the smart card system.
