Raipur, June 19, 2014: Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt has resigned.
“I have resigned from the post of Chhattisgarh Governor,” Dutt told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
“I met the President (Pranab Mukherjee) yesterday and tendered him my resignation letter,” said Dutt.
After the new government came to power at the Centre several governors have been asked to resign, media reports said.
However, Shekhar Dutt had refuted that he had been asked to resign.
