Raipur, October 28, 2022: Billionaire Elon Musk took over the Twitter and today put out a message in the microblogging site “The bird is freed”.
Musk also fired four top executives of the Twitter, including CEO Parag Agrawal and legal executive Vijaya Gadde.
“The bird is freed” Musk tweeted today after completing the whopping USD 44 billion takeover of the Twitter and media reports said the richest man of the world closed the deal to buy Twitter yesterday.
As Musk took control of the Twitter, the 11-month tenure as Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has also ended. Agrawal was appointed CEO in November 2021.
The tenure of the 38-year-old IIT-Bombay graduate Agrawal in the social media giant was challenging and chaotic, media reports said.
When there were about a 1,000 employees, Agrawal joined Twitter and rising in the company, he became its chief technology officer in 2017.
After Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey stepped down Agrawal was appointed CEO of the Twitter in November 2021.
