Raipur, January 25, 2023: Three persons from Chhattisgarh have been selected this year for the prestigious Padma Shri award by the Government of India.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today congratulated the three eminent personalities of the state who have been selected for the Padma Shri by the government of India.
Usha Barle, Ajay Kumar Mandavi and Domar Singh Kanwar have been selected for the prestigious Padma Shri award.
For her Pandwani performance, Usha Barle has been selected. A disciple of famous Teejan Bai, Usha Barle had performed not only with in India, but also in London and New York among others.
Doman Singh Kanwar Is a prominent name in the Nacha style of performance and he had worked in preventing child marriage also.
A Resident of Kanker district Domar Singh is a skilled hand in wooden carving art.
Chief Minister Baghel congratulated the three and said not only the field of art but also the entire state is feeling proud for the selection of the three personalities.
