Raipur, January 27, 2023: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today began the process to prepare the budget for the next fiscal for the state ahead of the year end assembly election.
The Chief Minister today reviewed the budget works for the Women and Child Welfare Department.
The process to start the budget works for the next fiscal was started today with the Women and Child Welfare Department, official sources said here.
Departmental Minister Anila Bhediya and senior departmental officials were present in the meeting.
Besides Women and Child Welfare Department, the Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of the Revenue and Rehabilitation, Stamp and Registration, Higher Education and Technical Education, Science and Technology, Sports and Youth Welfare Departments.
The Chief Minister also discussed with the Ministers and officials of the Food and Civil Supply Department, Planning and Statistics, Culture, Public Health Engineering and Rural Industry Departments.
Since the State will be going to poll later this year, people are expecting a more people friendly budget this year.
