Raipur, May 21, 2023: Chhattisgarh government is organising a National Ramayana Mahotshav from June 1 in Raigarh district.
A three day National Ramayana Mahotshav is being organised at the Raigarh Ramlila Ground from June 1, official sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
Culture Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh is organising the event.
Various groups from ten states will be participating in the Ramayana Mahotshav, they said.
However, the organisers are expecting attractive Ramayana presentation by the foreign troops.
Invitation has also been extended to various singers and other prominent artists to participate in the Ramayana Mahotshav.
Since Lord Rama had spent a larger period of his Vanvas in Dandakaranya of current Chhattisgarh the Mahotshav would more focus on Aranya Kand of the Ramayana, the sources said.
