Raipur, January 18, 2024: Chhattisgarh Government, online with the Central Government, late evening today announced half-day holiday on January 22, next.
There will be holiday till 2.30 PM on January 22, 2024 due to Pran Pratishtha Samaroh, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said.
Earlier in the day the Central government had declared closing of all its offices till 2:30 pm on 22nd January, at all Central Government offices, Central institutions & Central industrial establishments throughout India on the occasion of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha.
Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on January 22, next across India.
To enable employees to participate in the celebrations, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 1430 hours on 22nd January, 2024, Central Secretariat sources said.
Meanwhile, all schools and colleges will be closed on January 22.
The State government has also declared it as a dry day and ordered for closure of all meat and chicken shops on that day in Chhattisgarh.
