Raipur, May 15, 2024: Maoists today triggered a land mine blast targeting the vehicle of a senior police officer of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh, police said.
Maoists today blew up the vehicle of Farsegarh Station House Officer triggering a land mine blast between Bijapur and Ranibodli area, police sources ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
Farsegarh SHO Akash Masih and a security personnel were coming to Bijapur district headquarters on official work in the vehicle, which was targeted by the Maoists, they said.
However, both the officer and his staff had a providential escape as the land mine missed the target and hit the front of the vehicle partially, the sources added.
Bijapur SP Jitendra Yadav has confirmed to ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com about the incident and said all are safe, although the vehicle was partially damaged.
