Raipur, July 09, 2023: Chhattisgarh government sponsored Chhattisgarhiya Olympic would be started from July 17, officials said today.
The Chhattisgarhiya Olympic would be started from July 17, from the Hareli Festival, they said.
On inspiration from Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the state government is organising the games especially for the rural folk.
In the Chhattisgarhiya Olympic there would be competition among people in the traditional games being played in Chhattisgarh.
There would be 16 traditional games to be played during the Olympic.
The Olympic would be played in six rounds and would continue for about two and half months.
The Olympic would be closed on September 27, Sports Department officials said.
