Raipur, June 7, 2024: Nileshkumar Mahadev Kshirsagar was today appointed as the new district Collector of Kanker district in Chhattisgarh, immediately after the model code of conduct was lifted.
Kshirsagar is 2011 batch direct IAS officer, who was earlier posted in various districts including Raipur.
His last posting was Additional Chief Electoral Officer of Chhattisgarh to conduct the general election 2024 before becoming the District Collector Kanker.
2012 Batch IAS Abhijeet Singh has been shifted from Kanker Collector and posted as Special Secretary Home and Jail, a General Administration Department official order said.
Meanwhile, 2021 batch IAS and Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) Sarangarh Vasu Jain was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary Planning and Statistics, the order said.
