Raipur, June 16, 2024: Vishnu Dev Sai government today extended the summer vacation of the schools in Chhattisgarh up to June 15 as the state was reeling under severe heat wave condition.
“Looking into the heat wave condition, all the government and private schools in the state will remain close till June 25, next,” official sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
The mercury in many parts of the state had gone up above 45 degree Celsius and even in certain places that was touching 47-48 degrees, the sources said.
The monsoon was also expected early this year but that was also delayed, they said.

Now the schools will be opened on June 26, next, the officials said.
