Baloda Bazar, June 30, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today said the tribal community has contributed immensely during the freedom struggle of India.
Addressing an event to mark the sacrifice day of Rani Durgawati at Bhatapara in Balodabazar district of Chhattisgarh, the Chief Minister said his BJP government is working towards development of the tribal community of the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wanted to keep intact the pride of the tribals, because of which every year November 15 is celebrated as Tribal Day, he said.
President of the country Droupadi Murmu is also a tribals, which brings pride to the community, Sai said.
The Chief Minister called upon the members of the community to adopt education to bring in development and growth in the life. At the same time the tribal community should stay away from liquor and related things.
