Jashpur Nagar, July 05, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and his wife Kaushalya Devi have planted two Rudraksha saplings in his native place Bagia under Jashpur district in the name of his mother.

Under the scheme of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” the Chief Minister today visited the Bagia Government High School and planted a Rudraksha sapling and said this campaign will redefine the relations between mother and the birth place.
Wife of the Chief Minister Kaushalya Devi also planted a Rudraksha.
O P Choudhary, Finance Minister and in charge minister for Jashpur district, in this occasion planted an Amla sapling.
Relations with the mother is always different, said CM Sai addressing the event.
The way mother take care of their child, the nature mother also gives us life and we have to protect it, he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a call to plant a sapling in the name of the mother and all should join in that movement to protect the environment, he added.
