Raipur, November 01, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day, November 1.
Chief Minister Sai stated that the completion of 26 years since the establishment of Chhattisgarh is a moment of pride for us all.
Recalling former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on this occasion, Sai remarked that it was through his visionary leadership and firm resolve that the dream of a separate state of Chhattisgarh became a reality. The formation of a separate state gave a new identity to the hopes and aspirations of the people and opened doors to new possibilities for development.
He affirmed that the state government is working with unwavering commitment to realize Vajpayee’s vision of a prosperous and developed Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister noted that this year’s ‘Rajyotsav’ (State Foundation Day) is historic and special in many respects. This is the first such celebration taking place as Chhattisgarh, now free from the scourge of ‘red terror’ Naxalism, moves forward toward a new era of peace, trust, and development.
This historic achievement has been made possible through the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the firm resolve of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, and the persistent efforts of the ‘double-engine’ government.
He added that the indomitable courage, valour, and sacrifices of our brave security personnel have played an unforgettable role in this success. a contribution the state will always remember with deep gratitude.
Sai stated that the state government is committed to bringing prosperity to every village in Chhattisgarh, providing better opportunities for the youth to progress, and ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person in society. With its rich cultural heritage, abundant natural resources, and the potential of its people, Chhattisgarh is advancing toward new heights of development.
The Chief Minister remarked that the occasion of State Foundation Day is not only a time to take pride in past achievements but also an opportunity to make new resolutions for a bright future.
He urged everyone to join hands in the resolve to build a prosperous, strong, and developed Chhattisgarh by the year 2047, and to play an active role in turning this vision into reality.
