Raipur, September 7, 2024: Even after 75 years of Independence a primitive tribe dominated village in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh has not yet been electrified.
Mahuapani village in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh is not yet been electrified, although the village has majority primitive Korwa tribes, official sources said today.
Looking into the plight of the people, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has decided to electrify the village.
Under the Prime Minister Janman Yojana the village Mahuapani will be electrified soon, the sources added.
After Sai became the Chief Minister, the villagers had submitted an application drawing the attention of the BJP government to their difficulties of not having electricity in the village.
Now the villagers are very happy of getting electricity in the village soon and have thanked the Chief Minister for the decision to electrify the village, which is about 85 km from the district headquarters, where about 100 primitive tribe families are settled.
