Raipur, December 18, 2024: Taking a big step to connect Raipur, Ambikapur and Bilaspur with air connectivity, new flight services will be started from tomorrow, official sources said today.
New flights connecting Raipur, Ambikapur and Bilaspur will operate three days a week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the sources said.
The starting fare of this new flight service has been kept at just Rs 999.
Passengers can book for air service in these cities on first come first serve basis. For more information and booking in this regard, officials advised to visit the site www.flybig.in.
This new service will not only reduce the travel time, but also make intercity trips a comfortable and convenient one, which can further boost tourism, business opportunities and regional development, the officials said.
On the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, air services are expanding rapidly in Chhattisgarh under the Regional Connectivity Scheme of the Central Government.
The new flight services being launched under the Regional Connectivity Scheme aim to make air travel not only affordable but also a preferred choice for travellers in the region.
The launch of these flights will greatly benefit business travellers, tourists and local communities, save time and open new doors for economic development, they added.
