Raipur, December 22, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today appointed Mukesh Kumar Bansal as his Secretary. With that there will be four secretaries in the CM Secretariat.
The Government has also today posted 2004 batch IAS Amit Kataria as the Secretary Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department on his return from Central deputation.
A General Administration Department (GAD) order of today (Sunday) said Manoj Kumar Pingua will be relieved from the additional charges of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department after the posting of Kataria.
However, 1994 batch IAS Pingua will continue as Additional Chief Secretary Home and Jail, the GAD order said.
Meanwhile, 2005 batch IAS Mukesh Kumar Bansal was today posted as Secretary to the Chief Minister as additional Charge.
Bansal will, however, continue as Secretary Finance, with Additional charge of Secretary General Administration Department, Commercial Tax (Minus Excise and Registration) and Chairman Pension Settlement Committee along with the works of Secretary to the Chief Minister.
On December 20 last the Chief Minister had appointed Subodh Kumar Singh as his Principal Secretary. Besides Singh and Bansal, P Dayanand and Rahul Bhagat are also functioning as the Secretary to the Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai.
