Raipur, December 26, 2024: Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh passed away today night.

He was admitted in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi this evening in a serious condition.
Dr Manmohan Singh was Prime Minister of India for consecutive two terms from 2004 to 2014.
A highly respected economist Dr Singh was Finance Minister under the P V Narasimha Rao Government at the Centre.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the passing away of former Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
“India mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished leaders, Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji,” Modi stated.
Prime Minister Modi remarked that Dr. Manmohan Singh rose from humble origins to become a respected economist.
As our Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh made extensive efforts to improve people’s lives.

“Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji and I interacted regularly when he was PM and I was the CM of Gujarat. We would have extensive deliberations on various subjects relating to governance. His wisdom and humility were always visible.
